Afghanistan, May 23 -- Afghan LGBTQ refugees continue facing abuse, insecurity and legal uncertainty after fleeing, with reports highlighting vulnerable conditions in Pakistan and Germany.

Correctiv has reported that Afghan individuals with diverse sexual orientations and gender identities continue to face severe vulnerability even after fleeing Afghanistan, including in Pakistan and Germany, where many remain without adequate protection or long-term legal security.

The investigative report titled "No One Exists Here" is based on five personal testimonies and cross-checked with findings from organizations including Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, Afghan LGBTQ groups and official European and German migration data.
