Afghanistan, Feb. 18 -- The Afghanistan Media Support Organization (AMSO) says Afghan journalists stranded abroad face worsening conditions while awaiting Brazilian humanitarian visas.
According to the group, many media workers fled Afghanistan due to security threats and now risk deportation from host countries while relocation remains delayed.
AMSO said prolonged administrative delays and the absence of a clear visa timeline are worsening journalists' psychological and physical conditions.
The organization urged Brazilian authorities and diplomatic missions to urgently process humanitarian visas and provide clear updates on relocation procedures.
