Afghanistan, Sept. 3 -- A 91-year-old woman has become a symbol of survival after she was rescued alive from mud and floodwaters in Nepal, where devastating flash floods have killed more than 1,200 people and left thousands missing in one of the country's deadliest natural disasters in recent years.
According to NDTV, Guna Maya Bohara was rescued from a senior citizens' care home in Devighat, a riverside town in Nepal's Nuwakot district, after floodwaters buried the building under thick layers of mud and debris.
