Afghanistan, July 13 -- At least nine people, including two children, were killed and 10 others injured after a truck collided with multiple vehicles on a highway in Mexico's western state of Jalisco, civil protection authorities said on Sunday.
The crash occurred on the Guadalajara-Tepic highway, a major route linking the city of Guadalajara with the Pacific coast. Emergency crews launched a large-scale rescue operation after receiving reports of a collision involving a truck and several vehicles.
According to Jalisco civil protection authorities, nine people died at the scene, while 10 others were taken to nearby hospitals with injuries of varying severity.
