Afghanistan, Feb. 9 -- Foreign ministers from eight Muslim-majority nations jointly condemn Israeli actions in the West Bank, warning settlement expansion risks escalating regional tensions further.

Foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, Indonesia, Pakistan, Qatar, and the UAE described Israeli measures in the West Bank as illegal in a joint statement.

The ministers said Israeli policies aim to accelerate annexation efforts and expand settlements, stressing that sovereignty over Palestinian territories cannot legally be imposed.

They warned continued policies could increase violence and instability across the region, urging respect for international law and protection of Palestinian civilian rights.
