Afghanistan, Feb. 28 -- Hamdullah Fitrat, deputy spokesman of Taliban, has claimed that 52 people have been killed and 66 others wounded in Pakistani attacks since 26 February. He made the remarks in a post on X.

Fitrat alleged that most of the victims were women and children. He said the escalation followed what he described as the bombing of a farmer's family by Pakistani forces in Nangarhar.

According to his statement, large-scale strikes were subsequently carried out in several provinces, including Paktika, Khost, Kunar, Nangarhar, and Kandahar.

He further claimed that civilian homes, public areas, and large camps for returning migrants, including Omari and Torkham in Nangarhar, as well as Takht-e Pul and Anzargi in Kandahar were tar...
