Afghanistan, Aug. 28 -- 10 more people, including two children, have died from hunger in Gaza within 24 hours, raising the death toll to 313 amid worsening famine conditions.
The Gaza Health Ministry announced on Wednesday that ten more people, including two children, died of hunger in the past 24 hours. This brings the total deaths from starvation in Gaza to 313, among them 119 children.
At the same time, UN officials warned in a Security Council session that famine in Gaza has become a reality. They cautioned that continued blockade and bombardment by Israel will claim even more children's lives.
The UN further stated that the hunger crisis in Gaza is "man-made" and not a natural disaster.
