Srinagar, May 3 -- Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister and PDP president Mehbooba Mufti on Sunday warned that the Union Territory is staring at multiple crises - from jobless youth to families left without incomes - as she listed a string of grievances including closure of religious schools, backdoor appointments, and administrative changes in the Revenue Department.

Addressing a gathering here, Mehbooba Mufti as per news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS) pointed to the closure of Siraj-ul-Uloom and earlier action at Madina-ul-Uloom, asserting that the moves had caused deep anxiety among religious scholars and the public.
