Sopore, Oct. 4 -- In response to repeated delegations from village Zaloora highlighting water shortages caused by the non-operation of three pump stations on recently explored borewells under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), the Public Health Engineering (PHE) Sub Division Sopore has taken immediate steps to address the issue.

An official order from the Office of the Assistant Executive Engineer, PHE Sub Division Sopore, dated 3nd October 2025, states that five officials from the National Building Construction Limited (NBCL) have been deputed to the PHE Mechanical North Sub-Division Sopore.

These officials will be responsible for operating the machinery at the said borewell pump stations.
