Jammu, April 22 -- Udhampur, Apr 22 (KNS); Union Minister and local MP Dr Jitendra Singh on Wednesday visited the Associated Hospital at Government Medical College (GMC) Udhampur and directed doctors to ensure the best possible treatment for the injured, while describing the loss of lives in the Udhampur bus tragedy as "deeply painful".

An official told news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS) the Minister spent nearly an hour at the hospital, personally enquiring about the condition of each survivor admitted there.

He instructed the hospital administration to leave no stone unturned in providing specialised care to the critically injured, the official said.
