Tricolour Hoisted at 11,700 Feet as BSF, Chinar Uphar Foundation and Locals Celebrate Independence Day
Jammu, Aug. 15 -- Share Tweet Share Srinagar, August 15 (KNS): The 80th Independence Day of India was celebrated with patriotic fervour at Razdan Top in north Kashmir, where the Tricolour was hoisted at an altitude of nearly 11,700 feet. The celebration brought together personnel of the Border Security Force (BSF), members of the Chinar Uphar Foundation and local residents, who gathered to mark the occasion and reaffirm their commitment to national unity, peace and service. The programme was attended by Company Commander Naresh Kumar, Sub-Inspector Govind Kumar, Assistant Sub-Inspector Rupali Rajak and Assistant Sub-Inspector Arun Taid, along with other personnel of the 62nd Battalion, BSF, Northern Frontier.
