Srinagar, April 12 -- A group of trainee doctors from SKIMS Medical College organised a cleanliness drive from Dal Lake to Shankaracharya Hill as part of a public health and environmental awareness initiative, officials said on Sunday.
The drive saw active participation from students of Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar and other local medical colleges. Armed with cleaning materials, the future healthcare professionals collected litter along the stretch and ensured proper waste disposal, while also engaging visitors on the importance of preserving the area's ecological and cultural significance.
