Jammu, June 5 -- Share Tweet Share Srinagar, Jun 5 (KNS): The Traffic Police of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday carried out a large-scale tree plantation drive at multiple locations across the Union Territory to mark World Environment Day, officials said. The drive was initiated by Inspector General of Police (Traffic), M Suleman Choudhary, who planted a sapling inside the park at the Traffic Headquarters on M.A. Road here. Speaking on the occasion, the IGP stressed the importance of environmental protection and called upon all personnel to contribute towards a cleaner and greener ecosystem.
