Jammu, Sept. 19 -- Share Tweet Share Qazigund Sep 19 (KNS) - A Traffic Police Head Constable was killed on Saturday morning after being struck by a speeding truck in the Qazigund area of Kulgam district in south Kashmir, officials said. The deceased has been identified as Mushtaq Ahmad, son of Abdul Sabir Bhat, a resident of Kulpora. According to officials, the incident took place near Shampora Bridge in Qazigund when the truck, bearing registration number JK03Q-9011, lost control and hit the officer. "The speeding truck lost control and hit the traffic policeman, leaving him seriously injured. He died on the spot," an official said. Police have taken cognisance of the incident.
