Srinagar, Aug. 12 -- Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday said that India has avenged Pakistan's brutality through 'Operation Mahadev' and 'Operation Sindoor', warning that the "terrorist country" would have to pay a very heavy price if it dares to spill the blood of Indian citizens again.

Speaking at the 'Pedal for Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat' rally organised by the Border Security Force (BSF) ahead of the 79th Independence Day, Sinha felicitated 79 cyclists including 40 local youth and 39 BSF personnel who participated in the event. Earlier, he flagged off a 'Tiranga Yatra' from Dal Lake and joined the march to the Botanical Garden.
