Jammu, Aug. 16 -- Share Tweet Share Sopore, Aug 16 (KNS): National Conference leader and MLA Sopore Irshad Rasool Kar on Sunday announced that road development and civic upgrade works worth nearly Rs 17 crore are underway in Sopore town, with a target to complete major stretches by October 15. Providing a detailed break-up of road projects, MLA Kar in conversation with news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS) said the Sopore-Sangrama-Sagipora stretch spans 16.2 km, while 6.5 km of roads cover Nabad, Adipora, Maharajpura and Sher-colony Within the town, 11.5 km of CNT roads are also being taken up.
