The Department of Psychiatry at SKIMS Medical College Bemina, Srinagar, through its Advanced Centre for Mental & Addiction Medicine, organized a comprehensive awareness programme as part of the ongoing 100-day Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan initiative of the Government of Jammu & Kashmir.
The programme, conducted in collaboration with the Directorate of School Education Kashmir, marked the beginning of a series of awareness and training sessions aimed at addressing the growing concern of drug addiction in the region. The primary focus was to educate school teachers and counsellors about early identification, screening, and timely referral of individuals showing signs of substance abuse.
