Jammu, June 25 -- Share Tweet Share Srinagar, Jun 25 (KNS) Security forces conducted a joint mock drill at Shadipora Camp in Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora district on Thursday to assess preparedness and strengthen security arrangements ahead of the annual Amarnath Yatra, officials said. The exercise was carried out by Bandipora Police in coordination with personnel of the CRPF, SSB and the Army as part of efforts to ensure the safe and smooth conduct of the pilgrimage. Officials said the drill was aimed at enhancing inter-agency coordination, testing response mechanisms and evaluating the readiness of security forces to deal with various challenges that may arise during the yatra.
