Pampore, Oct. 26 -- In a major step towards enhancing transparency and efficiency in Public Distribution System, the Department of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) today rolled out first-ever digital weighbridge in Jammu and Kashmir at Food Storage Depot (FSD), Lethpora here.

The weighbridge was inaugurated by Minister for FCS&CA, Transport, Information Technology, Youth Services & Sports, Satish Sharma, in presence of MLA Pampore, Justice (Retd) Hasnain Masoodi. Senior officers from the FCS&CA department, officers from district administration, and local representatives were also present during the inauguration ceremony.
