Ahmedabad, May 31 -- Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) successfully defended their Indian Premier League title, defeating Gujarat Titans by six wickets in the IPL 2026 final at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday.

Chasing a competitive target, RCB produced a composed batting display with veteran batter Virat Kohli leading from the front. Kohli anchored the innings with a crucial half-century before guiding his side to victory in front of a packed crowd.

Earlier, Gujarat Titans posted a challenging total after their top-order batters made valuable contributions. However, RCB bowlers kept the scoring rate under control during the latter stages of the innings to restrict the opposition.
