Jammu, Sept. 25 -- Share Tweet Share New Delhi, Sep 25 (KNS): Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday flagged in a mountaineering expedition that scripted history by summiting 20 unclimbed peaks above 6,000 metres in Ladakh in just 23 days. The first-ever recorded summits of 20 unclimbed peaks were achieved in the Chamser-Lungser, Gyama Nala and Chokula areas of the Ladakh Range, according to the Ministry of Defence. The expedition was undertaken by a team of 20 climbers from the National Institute of Mountaineering and Adventure Sports (NIMAS), Dirang, led by Colonel Ranveer Singh Jamwal.
