Jammu, Oct. 5 -- Share Tweet Share Baramula, Oct 05 (KNS): The residents of Rashidabad area of Bomai in north Kashmir's Baramulla district staged a protest on Monday against the Jal Shakti Department over shortage of drinking water, blocking the Bandipora-Kupwara road and disrupting vehicular movement, officials said. The protesters claimed that the area has been without a proper drinking water supply for the past one month, causing hardships to the local population. The water supply was restored shortly after the protest.
