Srinagar, May 5 -- Police on Tuesday attached immovable assets worth approximately ?1.20 crore belonging to a notorious drug peddler in Srinagar as part of the ongoing 'Nasha Mukt J&K' (Drug-free Jammu and Kashmir) campaign.
The action was taken under Section 68-F of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act by the Nowhatta police station in connection with a case registered under FIR No. 61/2019, an official spokesperson said.
The attached assets include a three-storey residential house, a separate single-storey kitchen block with three washrooms, and land measuring nine marlas, the spokesperson added.
