Jammu, Oct. 7 -- Share Tweet Share Aaqib Khan Tangmarg, Oct 7 (KNS): Scores of residents from several villages in north Kashmir's Tangmarg area on Wednesday staged a protest outside the Power Development Department (PDD) office against the alleged disconnection of electricity supply to around 200-300 households. The protesters as per KNS alleged that power connections to several households were disconnected late Tuesday evening without any prior notice. They claimed that some of the affected families belong to the Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) category and are unable to clear their outstanding electricity dues in one go due to financial constraints.
