Jammu, Oct. 30 -- Share Tweet Share New Delhi, Oct 30 (KNS): The population Census will be conducted from January 25 to February 28, 2027, across most parts of India, including the non-snow-bound areas of Jammu and Kashmir, with March 1 fixed as the reference date, according to a notification issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on Friday. The notification, issued by Registrar General of India and Census Commissioner Mritunjay Kumar Narayan, provides a separate schedule for snow-bound areas of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh, besides Ladakh and certain other states.
