Jammu, Aug. 23 -- Share Tweet Share Handwara, Aug 23 (KNS): A need-based worker of the Power Development Department (PDD) was electrocuted to death while carrying out repair work on a power line in the Chogul area of Handwara, officials said on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Sheeraz Ahmad Dantoo, a resident of Kulangam. Eyewitnesses said that Dantoo came in contact with a live wire during the repair work, leading to severe electric burns. He was rushed to a nearby health facility, where doctors declared him brought dead, they added.
