Srinagar, May 10 -- National Conference chief spokesperson and MLA Zadibal Tanvir Sadiq on Sunday said his persistent efforts spanning several months have finally brought advanced medical facilities worth nearly ?4 crore to JLNM Hospital, Rainawari, ending the ordeal of patients from downtown Srinagar who were forced to travel long distances for specialised treatment.
Inaugurated by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, the new facilities include an ERCP Endoscopy Machine, Ultrasound/Doppler Machine, Tissue Processor for Histo-Pathology, and a Laser Urology Unit, installed under the CSR initiative of HDFC Bank.
