Srinagar, April 22 -- On the first anniversary of the Pahalgam terror attack, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Wednesday expressed profound grief over the loss of lives and extended solidarity with the bereaved families, stating that they "continue to bear the pain of this tragedy, and unfortunately always will."
In a post on X, Mirwaiz Umar said these dates on the calendar "reopen our wounds" from similar tragedies witnessed over the last three decades in parts of Kashmir - including Gaw Kadal, Zakoora, Hawal, Sopore, Wandhama and Chittisinghpura.
