New Delhi, May 15 -- The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Friday announced that the re-examination for NEET-UG 2026 will be conducted on June 21, days after the medical entrance test held on May 3 was cancelled over alleged paper leak allegations.

In a post on X, the National Testing Agency said the decision to hold the examination again was taken with the approval of the Government of India.

"National Testing Agency has decided to conduct the re-examination of NEET (UG) 2026 on Sunday, 21 June 2026," the agency said.

The cancellation of the May 3 examination was announced on May 12 following allegations of a paper leak, triggering uncertainty among more than 22 lakh medical aspirants across the country.
