Srinagar, June 1 -- National Conference leader and MLA Hazratbal Salman Sagar on Monday hit out at Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma saying the BJP leader needed "rest" and should behave sensibly instead of making irrelevant statements to remain in news.

Speaking to news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS) outside the Chief Minister's residence here, MLA Sagar dismissed Sharama's recent remarks questioning the NC's political relevance.

"He has no work left. He has to sit in opposition for another three-and-a-half years. So I think he needs some rest and needs to be sensible. He is lowering his position," Sagar said.
