Srinagar, June 25 -- In a move to ensure security for the upcoming Amarnath Yatra, Jammu and Kashmir Police, along with other security forces, have put in place multi-layered and comprehensive arrangements, IGP Kashmir VK Birdi said on Wednesday.

"All the security arrangements have been divided into zones and sectors," Birdi told reporters in Anantnag, South Kashmir. "Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) drills are being carried out across the valley."
