Jammu, Oct. 30 -- Share Tweet Share Srinagar, Oct 30 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir government on Friday constituted the Union Territory Haj Committee, appointing five members, including National Conference Member of Parliament Mian Altaf Ahmad and two sitting legislators, for a period of three years. According to a notification issued by the Revenue Department, a copy of which is available with Kashmir News Service (KNS), the appointments have been made by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha under Sections 17(1) and 18(1) of the Haj Committee Act, 2002, read with Rule 20 of the Haj Committee Rules, 2002.
