Tangmarg, March 4 -- A market checking drive was carried out at Chandilora in Tangmarg under the supervision of the Naib Tehsildar Tangmarg to ensure hygiene and rule compliance.

The joint team, comprising officials from the Food & Civil Supplies Department, Police and other departments, inspected several shops in the area. During the drive, expired food items were found, seized and destroyed on the spot.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

The team also directed shopkeepers to maintain proper cleanliness and hygienic conditions. Encroachments on footpaths were cleared to ensure smooth movement of pedestrians.

Officials warned that strict action will be taken against those violating government guidelines. (KNS)
