Man killed in explosion near Gulmarg
Jammu, June 27 -- Share Tweet Share Baramulla, Jun 27 (KNS) : A man was killed after an old unexploded shell went off near Gulmarg in north Kashmir's Baramulla district on Saturday, officials said. The incident took place in the Sumli Wali Dhok area near Asha Post when the victim came in contact with and mishandled the shell, triggering a blast, they said. The deceased was identified as Zabir Ahmad Bajad, son of Mohammad Rafiq Bajad, a resident of Galibal, Chandoosa in Baramulla district. Officials said the exact nature of the explosive device and the circumstances leading to the explosion were being investigated.
