Srinagar, Nov. 5 -- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday said that the present atmosphere of peace and development in Jammu and Kashmir has been made possible through years of sacrifice and by following the values of compassion and dialogue taught by India's spiritual leaders.
Speaking at the International Symposium on Peace, People and Possibilities in J&K at SKICC in Srinagar, Sinha said that lasting peace grows from mutual respect and the ability to live with dignity. The theme of the event, he noted, mirrors the collective aspiration for a prosperous and inclusive Jammu and Kashmir, where every voice contributes to harmony.
