Kupwara, Dec. 7 -- With profound grief and sorrow, it is announced that Hafizullah Sheikh Sahib, Retired Forest Range Officer (Kandi Region), has passed away after a brief illness.

The deceased was the father of Iftikhar Hussain Sheikh, District Horticulture Officer, Kupwara, and Mohammad Iqbal Sheikh, Range Officer, Mawar.

A veteran of the Jammu & Kashmir Forest Department, Hafizullah Sheikh was widely known for his dedication, integrity, and service to the protection and development of forest wealth in the Kandi and bordering areas.
