Srinagar, Oct. 6 -- Former IAS officer and former Advisor to the Governor, Khursheed Ahmad Ganai, has expressed deep concern over the rapid conversion of agricultural land in Jammu and Kashmir, warning that the Valley could turn into a "concrete jungle" within the next decade or two if immediate corrective measures are not taken.

Addressing a gathering, Ganai said that the unplanned development and large-scale construction activities across Kashmir are destroying fertile agricultural land that has sustained generations.
