Srinagar, Aug. 19 -- JKPC Youth President Mudasir Karim has expressed deep shock and anger over a recent media report exposing the operation of a "meat mafia" in Kashmir that allegedly feeds people with rotten, diseased and chemically treated meat.

In a statement issued, Karim Calling the revelations "shocking and life-threatening," Karim said this is not just about one racket but a dangerous reminder of what could be happening across other essential food supplies. "If meat can be this badly adulterated, what do we really know about the milk, vegetables, pulses, oils, and other things our families consume every single day? Are we sitting quietly and waiting for our generations to be slowly killed?" he questioned.
