Srinagar, Aug. 24 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Urdu Council has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of the mother of former bureaucrat Asghar Ali Samoon and Masood Ali Samoon.

In a statement issued, during the Council's meeting, members expressed their condolences on the passing away of Zebunnisa, mother of Asghar Ali Samoon and Masood Hassan Samoon. The deceased was the wife of Maulvi Muhammad Anwar Samoon and departed from this mortal world yesterday. The Council conveyed condolences and sympathy to all the bereaved family members.
