Jammu, Aug. 19 -- Share Tweet Share Srinagar, Aug 19 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir government has directed the J&K Sports Council to expedite the long-pending upgradation and development of the playing field at Gund Jehangir in Bandipora district, officials said on Wednesday. The direction was issued after a representation was submitted by Advocate Bilal Ahmad Bhat, a local resident, urging early intervention in the matter, official sources told KNS. The Personal Section of the Minister for FCS&CA, Transport, Science & Technology, IT, YSS and ARI & Trainings forwarded the representation to the Secretary of the Sports Council, seeking priority action on the issue, they said.
