Srinagar, Aug. 22 -- The Jammu and Kashmir administration has terminated the services of two government employees on charges related to activities deemed prejudicial to the security of the state. The dismissals were carried out under Article 311(2)(c) of the Constitution of India, which allows the government to bypass a formal inquiry in the interest of national security.
According to official orders issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha approved the dismissal of Siyad Ahmad Khan, Assistant Stockman in the Sheep Husbandry Department, and Khurshid Ahmad Rather, a Teacher in the School Education Department.
