Srinagar, Feb. 11 -- The Members of Parliament belonging to the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference have warmly welcomed and strongly appreciated the Budget 2026-27 presented by Chief Minister and Finance Minister Omar Abdullah, describing it as a people-friendly, inclusive and forward-looking financial roadmap aimed at accelerating socio-economic transformation across Jammu and Kashmir.

In a joint statement, party MPs stated that the Budget reflects a balanced blend of fiscal prudence and welfare prioritisation. They observed that the Budget lays special emphasis on inclusive growth, poverty alleviation, employment generation, infrastructure expansion and strengthening of public service delivery mechanisms.
