New Delhi, June 18 -- India has launched 'Operation Sindhu' to evacuate Indian nationals from Iran amid escalating tensions between Iran and Israel.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) confirmed that the safety of Indian citizens abroad is a top priority. Over 4,000 Indians, including 2,000 students, reside in Iran. Reports emerged of injuries to some Indian students following a strike on a medical dormitory in Tehran's Keshavarz Street. While the Iranian Foreign Ministry is in contact with Indian authorities, no official statement has yet been issued by India on the incident.

As part of the evacuation effort, the Indian Embassy in Tehran helped 110 students leave northern Iran and cross into Armenia on Tuesday.Click Here To Follow O...
