Chennai, July 11 -- National Security Advisor Ajit Doval said India carried out precise strikes on nine terror targets inside Pakistan under Operation Sindoor. He said the operation lasted only 23 minutes and every target was hit.
Speaking at the 62nd convocation of IIT Madras, Doval said the operation was launched after the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, which left 26 people dead. He said the strikes began on May 7 and ended on May 10 following an understanding between both sides to halt military activity.
He said, "We selected nine terrorist targets. These were not near the border, they were inside Pakistan. All of them were hit. None were missed." He added that no civilian or unintended site was affected.
