New Delhi, Aug. 18 -- The opposition INDIA bloc leaders are set to meet today to discuss their joint candidate for the post of Vice-President.
According to sources, the meeting will be held at 10:15 am in the office of Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha.
This comes a day after the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) named Maharashtra Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan as its candidate for the country's second-highest constitutional post. Radhakrishnan, a senior BJP leader from Tamil Nadu with an RSS background, is expected to draw wider political support, including in his home state which goes to polls in 2026.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
