In a major crackdown on illegal timber smuggling, Handwara Police have seized 21 logs of Deodar wood from a cowshed in Haril village and arrested one person involved in the offence.

Acting on specific intelligence, a team from Police Station Qalamabad raided the cowshed of Bashir Ahmad Najar, son of Ghulam Nabi Najar, a resident of Dhobi Mohalla, Haril.
