Protesters blocked roads, closed shops and staged a sit-in, raising slogans against the administration and demanding an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the deaths. The deceased, Haseena Begum, wife of Showket Hameed Lone, was a resident of Mazgund village in Tulail.
