Jammu, July 6 -- Share Tweet Share New Delhi, Jul 6 (KNS): The government on Monday appointed senior IPS officers Alok Kumar Mittal and Amit Garg as Directors General of the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D) and the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), respectively, according to an official order. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, cleared the top-level posts in central police organisations on the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) order said.
