Srinagar, April 27 -- All cadres of Government Medical College Srinagar and its Associated Hospitals express profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of the mothers of two senior faculty members of the institution.

The mother of Prof. (Dr.) Shahzada Mohd Salim Khan, Head of Department, Community Medicine, GMC Srinagar, left for her heavenly abode on 16th April, 2026.

The mother of Prof. (Dr.) Abdul Rashid Ganie Deptt. Of Surgery also passed away on 15th April, 2026 after a brief illness.
