Jammu, May 5 -- New Delhi, May 5 (KNS) ; The Government of India (GOI) on Tuesday strongly condemned the attack on Fujairah that left three Indian nationals injured, asserting that the targeting of civilian infrastructure and innocent civilians is unacceptable and calling for an immediate cessation of hostilities.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) underlined the need for dialogue and diplomacy to restore peace and stability across West Asia, while emphasising the importance of safe and unimpeded navigation through the Strait of Hormuz in accordance with international law.
